Proven Methods of Success One of the great aspects of our national heritage is the sense of cooperation and the spirit of competition inherent in many of our small businesses. However, what makes one better than the other? What makes one more successful than the other? Talent? Cash? A little bit of Blarney? A good piece of Luck? All these are important and at times welcome blessings in any business, but the most important aspect is to have a network of support behind you. This network is a system of people and companies that partner in the truest sense of the word. A network giving you the attention you need working one on one with you. The network may include a good banker, it might certainly include a mentor. The go-to person who can help navigate through those choppy times. It is the person who can give you the "Don't Quit" attitude. As we build our relationships and our partners, we build our business's and our lives. By adding the support of the network, you can maintain control of your business and your life. When you are "all tied up" in your business and your life, partnering will get you through. At Nightscaping, we pride ourselves in partnering. I would bet that is one of the reasons you subscribed to the Nightscaping newsletter. As we build our relationships and our partners, we build our business's and our lives. We have partnered with contractors, distributors and specifiers for the past 48 years. The know-how we share together has built an industry. Together we have created a loyalty and bond that is the envy of the lighting business. With training, chat rooms, marketing, artwork, video streaming, technical support, and a full time CAD design department, the partnership moves us a step forward. We give you the edge and security you need in the business world. Terry Dee Nighscaping® Sales Rep Upper Midwest

![]() Recently, Ron from Ron Hazelton's HouseCalls did an outdoor lighting installation demonstration with two professional lighting designers in his own backyard. He uses Nightscaping® (Loran Inc.) products as well as products from two other manufacturers. The lighting designers start by informing Ron that outdoor lighting should flow with the theme of the landscape. Ron's theme happens to be about trees, so they suggest using Moon Blue lenses when downlighting through sculpural trees, creating shadows and movement on the ground. After going over design suggestions for Ron's pond, arbor, walkways, and more, the designers take photos and do sketches. Once the designers have created their drawings and design, Ron takes over and demonstrates the installation. He goes from installing the transformer, to laying the wire, to splicing, and finally to the fine adjustment of each light with the nighttime effect. The last motion sensing device you'll ever need . . .
Safety -- Security -- Convenience -- Controls at your finger-tips! The principle is so simple, we should have
developed it long ago . . . Take an existing 12Volt AC source and use it to power a simple printed circuit base. This base is designed to power a 12Volt Photo Cell, a 12Volt Motion Sensor (4 if desired). To this base add an FCC approved Remote Control Unit. Wire this highly reliable simple base to 4 independent 30 Amp Electro-Mechanical Relays . . . Result is --The DOMINATOR®. Either The DOMINATOR® 1200 W 4 Circuit Relay Unit (DO-8800) or the DO-8900 Raintight DOMINATOR® 1200 W-4 Circuit Separate unit requires less than 30 minutes to install, less than a dozen connections, a single circuit transformer to a multi-tap multi-voltage 1200 Watt transformer.
