POWERCENTER IS TO BE
INSTALLED IN ACCORDANCE WITH UL
1838: STANDARD FOR SAFETY.
TRANSFORMER MUST BE GROUNDED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE NATIONAL
ELECTRICAL CODE. ALWAYS DISCONNECT POWERCENTER FROM
AC POWER SOURCE BEFORE INSTALLING OR REMOVING ANY COMPONENT.
These instructions apply to Nightscaping® Powercenters models T-100-SS, T-150SS,
T-250SS,
T- 500SS, T-1000SS,
H3O-250SS, H3O-500SS,
H3O-1000SS.
1.
Checking to see what model of transformer
you have:
A.
Stencil name indicates size in volts
and watts of Powercenter.
B.
Modular transformer has a blank modular
plate to the left of fustats secured to the transformer
with 4 #8 phillips head screws.
C.
If this plate is blank and no photocell
on Powercenters side (no contacts, terminals,
clock etc...) this indicates a standard SS Powercenter
ready to accept any control module.
* To install any NS Control module remove standard Powercenter blank plate along with red jumper wire from terminal #1
and #2. (Save for future use).
Terminal #1 is connected to terminal #2 at factory using
a red jumper wire. Trouble shooting note....Should any
module/timing component fail, remove cover, disconnect
component wire and use any component wire as a jumper
between terminal # 1 and terminal #2--Powercenter
now functions as a standard Powercenter.
